Rock a Tots is committed to providing high‑quality, affordable childcare for all families. We proudly accept government funding for eligible 9‑month‑olds, 2‑year‑olds, and 3‑ to 4‑year‑old children.

Funding Eligibility

We offer funding on a year-round stretched basis which means an eligible child will receive approximately 22 funded hours per week for 51 weeks per year.

Parents need to apply for funding in the term before it’s due to begin and make sure to reconfirm eligibility every 3 months—this bit is really important and is part of the Government’s requirements.

Essentials and extras fee

For children receiving funding, we do ask for an optional meals and consumables fee, which is charged per funded hour attended. This helps us cover the cost of things like breakfast, snacks, drinks, fresh fruit, one-use resources, fun activities, trips and visits from extra-curricular tutors.

Our funded hours are charged at:

– £1.00 per funded hour for babies
– £1.50 per funded hour for 2‑year‑olds
– £2.00 per funded hour for children aged 3+
